Job Description

Job Title: Construction Superintendent – Church & Ministry Projects

Company: Warren Construction Solutions, LLC

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma (Local projects – limited travel)

Employment Type: Full-Time

About Warren Construction Solutions, LLC

Warren Construction Solutions, LLC (WCS) is a Tulsa-based construction company built to serve churches, ministries, and faith-based organizations throughout the Tulsa area and surrounding communities.

Our primary focus is helping churches and ministries build, expand, and steward their facilities well, so pastors and ministry leaders can stay focused on their calling — not construction management.

In addition to our local ministry work, WCS also maintains a diversified portfolio that includes select federal projects supporting the U.S. Department of Defense. This balanced approach provides long-term stability, high standards, and technical depth, while keeping our day-to-day work grounded in local, relationship-driven projects.

Position Summary

The Construction Superintendent will lead local church and ministry construction projects in the Tulsa area, overseeing daily field operations from mobilization through closeout. This role is ideal for a Superintendent who values community-based work, strong relationships, and purpose-driven projects, while still appreciating professional standards, quality craftsmanship, and accountability.

Most projects are local to Tulsa, allowing you to build lasting relationships with owners, subcontractors, and repeat clients — not bounce from site to site across the country.

Key Responsibilities

On-Site Leadership & Daily Operations

  • Lead all on-site construction activities for church and ministry projects
  • Supervise company crews and subcontractors
  • Establish a respectful, organized, and productive jobsite
  • Plan daily work activities, manpower, and sequencing
  • Maintain a clean, professional jobsite appropriate for active ministry campuses

Schedule, Coordination & Communication

  • Manage project progress to meet agreed schedules
  • Prepare and maintain weekly 2-Week Look-Ahead Schedules
  • Conduct weekly field meetings with subcontractors
  • Coordinate daily with the Project Manager on progress, needs, and challenges
  • Communicate clearly with pastors, ministry staff, and owner representatives

Quality & Craftsmanship

  • Maintain working knowledge of plans, specifications, and submittals
  • Ensure work is built per contract documents and industry standards
  • Inspect subcontractor and self-performed work for quality
  • Coordinate inspections and testing with the QC team
  • Prepare and complete punch lists through project closeout

Safety Leadership

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite
  • Enforce company and OSHA safety standards
  • Conduct weekly safety meetings
  • Address unsafe conditions immediately and proactively

Documentation & Accountability

  • Complete accurate daily reports
  • Track labor, materials, and production
  • Document issues, RFIs, and changes clearly and timely
  • Coordinate with local inspectors, utilities, and authorities having jurisdiction

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Construction Superintendent or Field Leader
  • Commercial construction experience (church, school, or institutional preferred)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work respectfully in active church environments
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Desire to take ownership of projects and relationships

Why Join Warren Construction Solutions

  • Local Tulsa-area projects — be home most nights
  • Purpose-driven work serving churches and ministries
  • Relationship-based construction with repeat clients
  • Small company, big impact — your leadership truly matters
  • Stable, diversified company with both private and federal experience
  • Direct access to ownership and company leadership
  • Competitive compensation based on experience

Optional Growth Opportunities

While this role is primarily focused on local ministry projects, Superintendents who are interested may also have opportunities to:

  • Support select federal/DOD projects
  • Expand leadership responsibilities as the company grows
  • Help shape field processes, standards, and culture at WCS

Who This Role Is Perfect For

This position is ideal for a Superintendent who:

  • Wants to focus on local, community-based construction
  • Enjoys building long-term relationships with owners and subcontractors
  • Values craftsmanship, integrity, and purpose
  • Is tired of constant travel or impersonal corporate structures
  • Wants to grow with a company, not get lost in one
