The Xfinity Mobile Arena is one of the world's busiest arenas, home of the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, Villanova University basketball, Philadelphia Wings, family shows and concerts. Since opening in 1996, the arena is the centerpiece of sports and entertainment in the greater Philadelphia region as well as prominently featured in the national spotlight. The 21,000-seat arena is a showcase arena for the company's industry-leading qualities as an operator and an innovator in the live event experience. **Job Summary** Building Services employees are here to provide and maintain the cleanliness throughout the Xfinity Mobile Arena as well as keeping the environment safe and hazard free to the entertainers, guests, patrons, and staff. **Job Description** **Core Responsibilities:** + Flexibility in accepting daily assignments / duties + Communication skills + Understand safety awareness + Complete tasks timely and effectively + Follow monthly event calendar and weekly schedules + Work as a team player + Work weekends and holidays + Attend department in-service and meetings + Maintain the cleanliness of work environment, janitor closets, etc + Clean equipment and store neatly in proper location + Complete other duties as assigned by Supervisor **Position Requirements:** + High school diploma / GED + Ability to read, write, and speak English + Ability to take directives / follow commands + Self-motivated + Professional demeanor + Ability to manage time wisely and effectively + Ability to work a flexible schedule, including but not limited to, traditional business hours, nights, weekends and select holidays, as required + Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, sweeping, mopping, climbing and walking. Must be able to work safely in an environment containing caustic chemicals, cleaning materials, debris, dust, and trash. + Routinely required to work indoors and outdoors in the weather conditions prevalent at the time.
