Job Description

Simkhai is seeking an Art Director to lead the Creative Services team and shape SIMKHAI’s visual expression across all channels. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, solutions-oriented creative leader with a strong understanding of the SIMKHAI aesthetic. This role drives concepting, art direction, and content creation in close partnership with leadership to bring the brand’s modern, refined vision to life.

Responsibilities:

• Define and oversee the brand’s visual direction across all creative touchpoints.
• Lead the entire creative process, from ideation to execution, influencing product launches, brand initiatives, and seasonal campaigns.
• Set the photoshoot calendar to ensure coverage of seasonal collections and key brand storytelling moments.
• Lead photoshoots and video productions from concept through post-production.
• Identify and execute cost-effective, on-brand content approaches; develop content chase models that respond to real-time trends and support selling moments.
• Leverage AI tools to ideate, develop, and refine engaging, on-brand content across digital and social channels.
• Manage creative budget, aligning financial resources with commercial and brand priorities to ensure impactful outcomes
• Manage, mentor, and inspire an in-house team of designers and creatives.

Qualifications:

• Must have undergraduate degree from an accredited school
• Must have minimum of 7+ years of art direction experience in fashion, lifestyle, or retail.
• Must have demonstrated leadership and ability to guide high-performing creative teams.
• Must have strong portfolio demonstrating campaign development and brand storytelling.
• Must be highly organized with exceptional design taste and attention to detail.
• Must have an established network of creative collaborators (photographers, stylists, production).
• Must be comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
• Must have positive attitude, professional, personable and flexible with the demands and changes of a growing business.
