Job Title : AI/ML Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI/ML Engineer to join our growing team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building and deploying machine learning models and working with large datasets in real-world production environments. You should be comfortable collaborating with data scientists, data engineers, and software developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient machine learning models and AI solutions.
• Perform data wrangling, preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
• Train and evaluate models using state-of-the-art ML/DL algorithms.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate models into applications.
• Optimize and tune models for performance and accuracy.
• Conduct A/B testing and model validation techniques.
• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in AI/ML technologies.
• Document workflows, experiments, and models for reproducibility and auditability.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.

Mandatory Skills

Machine Learning & Deep Learning

• Supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques
• Model evaluation and selection methods
• Hyperparameter tuning techniques (e.g., Grid Search, Bayesian optimization)
• Familiarity with model explainability tools (e.g., SHAP, LIME)

Programming Languages

• Python (advanced proficiency – must-have)
• Experience in writing modular, scalable, and clean code
• Familiar with object-oriented programming

ML/DL Frameworks & Libraries

• Scikit-learn , TensorFlow , PyTorch , Keras
• XGBoost , LightGBM
• Pandas , NumPy , Matplotlib , Seaborn

Data Engineering & MLOps (Good to have)

• ETL Pipelines , Airflow , MLflow , DVC
• Model packaging and deployment using Docker, Flask/FastAPI
• CI/CD pipelines for ML models
• Cloud-based ML deployment (AWS Sagemaker, GCP AI Platform, Azure ML)

Data Handling & Querying

• Strong knowledge in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Data preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation techniques
• Working with structured and unstructured data (text, images, audio)

NLP/Computer Vision (Nice to have)

• Knowledge in NLP libraries like spaCy , NLTK , Transformers (HuggingFace)
• Experience with OpenCV , YOLO , CNNs for image-based tasks

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science , Data Science , Artificial Intelligence , or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in AI/ML are a plus (e.g., Google AI, Microsoft AI Engineer Associate, etc.)
