Pay Range: $33 - $59 /hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Exemplary Practice & Clinical Outcomes
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans using evidence-based practice.
• Deliver safe, high-quality neuro-focused care across the continuum.
• Engage patients and families through bedside shift reports, teaching, and shared decision-making.
• Adapt nursing interventions based on population-specific needs (age, diagnosis, neuro condition, etc.).
• Maintain adherence to current clinical standards and protocols.
• Teamwork & Collaboration
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, case managers, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Serve as a professional team member fostering a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all care activities.
• Contribute to recruitment, retention, and support of team members.
• Professional Development & Leadership
• Maintain required competencies and complete all mandatory education.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to newer nurses, students, or other staff.
• Promote a healthy work environment and model professional nursing practice.
• Evidence-Based Practice & Research
• Promote and participate in evidence-based practice initiatives and performance improvement projects.
• Uphold regulatory, legal, accreditation, and client system policies.
• Participate in data collection and research utilization to improve patient care.
• Resource Optimization
• Plan and coordinate care to optimize human and material resources.
• Contribute to development or improvement of protocols, procedures, and clinical processes.
• Support reduction of readmissions, adverse events, and avoidable days by following best practices.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills; Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia (Single State or Multi-State Compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Instructor/Provisional accepted).
• Strong knowledge of acute care nursing, particularly neuro patient populations.
• Proficiency in the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Excellent critical thinking , analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to provide patient-centered, culturally competent care .
• Strong interdisciplinary communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to document care accurately and efficiently in the medical record.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice , quality outcomes, and patient safety.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience required
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to client’s care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
